Tech Lead C# Developer

We are looking for a Tech Lead C# Developer to work in Lisboa, Porto, Faro, Braga, Coimbra or Évora (1x week) who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

• Lead and develop the engineering team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement;

• Define and manage the end-to-end architecture of the CloudCockpit platform (.NET), ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability;

• Remain hands-on, contributing to critical and complex features;

• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and DevOps/CI-CD practices;

• Collaborate with Product Management to translate user needs into effective technical solutions;

• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of deliveries;

• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and manage technical debt;

• Make technical decisions while balancing quality, costs, and business priorities.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on C#/.NET;

• 2+ years in technical leadership roles (Tech Lead, Senior Engineer with leadership responsibilities, or equivalent);

• Experience designing and delivering complex, scalable, and reliable solutions, ideally in SaaS environments;

• Advanced knowledge of .NET and C#;

• Experience with SQL Server, including data modelling, queries, and optimization;

• Knowledge of frontend development;

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps;

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices;

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software development patterns;

• Experience managing technical debt and delivering technical roadmaps;

• Daily use of AI in software development and solution design;

• Fluent English and Portuguese;

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills;

• Experience mentoring and developing engineers;

• Strong product mindset and ability to balance technical decisions with business needs;

• Power BI experience is a plus.
