This role sits within the Everyday Banking Individuals (EDBI) Domain and offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a wide range of teams across the Business Solutions CIO organisation. You'll also partner directly with Business stakeholders, helping to deliver high-quality solutions that make a real difference to our customers.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE


Everyday Banking – Individuals is looking for a Technical Analyst based out of Milton Keynes, Unity Place.


Working across the EDBI portfolio, you’ll become part of a collaborative and supportive team, helping to shape and deliver technology that makes a meaningful difference for our customers. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and build relationships across Business, Product, Architecture and Delivery, gaining a broad understanding of how technology change happens across Santander.


With guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to contribute, you’ll gain practical experience throughout the full change lifecycle, from requirements gathering and process mapping through to solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support. Along the way, you’ll develop versatile technical, analytical, communication and delivery skills, broaden your professional network and build the confidence and experience to support your continued career development.


We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration, and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:



  • Supporting the delivery of change initiatives across the EDBI Domain by working closely with Business, Product, Architecture, Engineering and Delivery teams to understand requirements, analyse impacts and contribute to solution design.
  • Producing and maintaining analysis artefacts, including business and technical requirements, process maps, customer journeys, impact assessments, system documentation, and solution designs.
  • Assisting in the planning, coordination and delivery of projects and programmes, supporting governance activities, milestone tracking, risk and dependency management, implementation planning, and delivery assurance.
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders across Business and Technology, communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner, and supporting collaborative decision-making.
  • Contributing to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, business outcomes, security requirements, and organisational standards.
  • Continuously developing technical, analytical and delivery knowledge, staying informed of emerging technologies, industry trends and delivery methodologies whilst adhering to Santander policies, governance, and security standards.

Professional Experience

  • Experience of working within a technology in financial services (Required)
  • Experience of analysing information, investigating problems and reaching logical, evidence-based conclusions (Required)
  • Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues from different teams or professional disciplines (Required)
  • Experience of gathering, documenting, or communicating business or technical requirements (Required)
  • Exposure to one or more stages of the technology change lifecycle, such as analysis, design, testing, implementation, or post-launch support (Required)
  • Experience of producing clear and accurate documentation, process maps, presentations, or other analysis materials (Required)
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders and explaining information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences (Preferred)

It would also be nice for you to have

  • Exposure to Agile delivery, project governance or the management of risks, issues, and dependencies (Preferred)
  • Awareness of solution architecture, APIs, operating systems, mainframe technology or how applications and infrastructure connect (Preferred)
  • Experience of supporting customer-focused change within a regulated organisation (Preferred)

Salary Range:


£45,320.00 - £67,980.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
