- Manage and coordinate a cross-functional application development team of approximately 11 team members.
- Own delivery plans, Agile ceremonies, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and status reporting.
- Coordinate technical work across application development, cloud, APIs, integrations, data, security, testing, and related platform services.
- Remove delivery roadblocks and drive issues to timely resolution.
- Partner closely with client stakeholders and technical teams to manage expectations, priorities, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Manage difficult delivery situations through effective communication, negotiation, escalation, and problem solving.
- Coordinate staffing, onboarding, resource allocation, and team continuity.
- Support production readiness activities including testing, security, monitoring, documentation, and operational handover.
- Ensure delivery aligns with established architecture, security, governance, and data-handling requirements.
- Provide clear delivery updates to business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering teams and provide hands-on technical support when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in technology delivery, technical program management, application development leadership, engineering leadership, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading application development teams and complex technical delivery initiatives.
- Experience delivering greenfield technology initiatives from planning and development through implementation.
- Strong understanding of Agile software delivery and the software development lifecycle.
- Technical understanding of modern cloud and application environments, including areas such as AWS, APIs, CI/CD, GitHub, Kubernetes, data, security, testing, and observability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, resources, and delivery commitments.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage challenging delivery situations, negotiate priorities, resolve issues, and drive teams toward successful outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering generative AI, agentic AI, AI platform, or similar emerging-technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with secure enterprise AI environments or sandbox/platform implementations.
- Experience within financial services, capital markets, asset management, or another regulated industry.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable delivery-management tools.
- Relevant Agile, project management, cloud, or AI certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
