Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager – Data Integration & Systems Integration to take hands-on ownership of an active, high-visibility enterprise data integration project.

This role requires a strong technical project manager who can independently drive daily execution, manage detailed project plans, coordinate numerous application teams, track dependencies, and ensure delivery against firm milestones.

The project involves data exchange, API integrations, system interoperability, and request-and-response data flows across approximately 50–60 application integration touchpoints.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of technical project management experience, direct experience delivering data integration initiatives, strong Jira expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.

What This Person Will Be Working On

• Take ownership of an active enterprise data integration and system interoperability project
• Maintain a detailed baseline project plan with milestones, dependencies, schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
• Coordinate integration activities across approximately 50–60 application touchpoints
• Oversee project execution across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
• Coordinate business stakeholders, architects, developers, data engineers, testing teams, IT departments, vendors, and leadership
• Manage API integrations, request-and-response data exchanges, data transformations, and cross-system dependencies from a project delivery perspective
• Use Jira and Confluence to manage project activities, sprint progress, risks, issues, and documentation
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, PI planning, and cross-functional delivery coordination
• Identify schedule risks, blockers, and delivery issues early and drive timely escalation and resolution
• Track project financials including budget actuals, labor costs, burn rate, supplier expenses, invoices, and reconciliation
• Provide detailed, accurate executive status reporting covering milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery progress
• Coordinate technical, business, security, and compliance stakeholders through required reviews and approvals

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on technology project management experience
• Direct project management experience delivering enterprise data integration, data exchange, system interoperability, data migration, or data transformation projects
• Proven experience managing detailed project plans and driving day-to-day execution
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple applications, systems, technical teams, and stakeholders
• Strong hands-on Jira experience
• Working knowledge of Confluence
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, sprint ceremonies, PI planning, and hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables
• Working technical understanding of APIs, data flows, request-and-response integrations, data transformations, business rules, and system dependencies
• Experience coordinating requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production readiness
• Experience with project budget management, labor costs, burn rates, vendor expenses, and financial tracking
• Strong experience developing detailed project status reports and communicating with executive leadership
• Ability to independently identify problems, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to take over an existing project and quickly establish control of execution and delivery

Desired Skills

• Experience managing large-scale enterprise integration projects involving numerous applications or technical teams
• Experience coordinating API-based integrations and data exchange implementations
• Familiarity with AWS-based enterprise environments
• Experience working with third-party vendors and outsourced development resources
• Experience managing project budgets in the multimillion-dollar range
• Experience supporting enterprise data governance, cybersecurity, or sensitive-data initiatives
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Clarity, or similar project tracking tools
• Experience coordinating complex testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization activities
• PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications preferred but not required
• Experience delivering high-visibility projects with aggressive deadlines and executive oversight
