The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead talent acquisition as the organization's initial recruiting specialist, covering a wide range of technical and operational functions. Work side by side with senior leadership to establish hiring practices and expand headcount as the business enters a major growth stage.

What you'll do

- Find and evaluate candidates, handling initial screening conversations for positions spanning technical, scientific, plant and public-sector functions.

- Run the hiring process end to end, from early outreach to extending offers, with a focus on a quick and positive candidate experience.

- Create and continually improve recruiting workflows, tools and new-hire onboarding from scratch.

- Collaborate with company leaders and domain experts to understand specialized positions and agree on what a strong candidate looks like.

- Develop talent pipelines that cover both current vacancies and anticipated staffing needs as operations expand to round-the-clock schedules.

What we're looking for

- Roughly 5 to 8 years of recruiting experience.

- A background hiring for hands-on engineering, scientific and operations-focused positions, beyond software alone.

- Experience helping young or rapidly scaling companies build out their workforce.

- Strong command of the whole hiring lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, scheduling and closing candidates.

- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.

- Comfort partnering with founders and technical stakeholders.

- An adaptable, quick-moving, hands-on style that fits a lean, results-focused setting.

- Ability to work on-site five days a week.

- Experience using AI-assisted tools to automate recruiting tasks.

Compensation and benefits

- Base salary: USD 120,000 to 160,000 per year
