Show job description

We are instructed by a prestigious, top-tier international law firm who have asked us to assist them to expand its highly rated TMT practice in the Middle East. The firm is seeking to hire two talented lawyers—one junior Associate and one Senior Associate—to join their collaborative team based in Dubai.

This practice is renowned for handling premium, cutting-edge tech procurement, digital transformation, and complex commercial mandates across the region. It offers an exceptional platform for growth, high-quality work, and direct client exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts, services agreements, and software contracts (both on-premise and cloud-based/SaaS).
  • Advise major corporate clients, financial institutions, and tech pioneers on critical legal and commercial issues, including contract structuring, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, and limitation of liability.
  • Provide clear, commercial advice on standard boilerplate provisions, intellectual property rights, and data privacy issues within commercial arrangements.
  • For the Senior Associate role: Take a leading role in transaction management, complex negotiations, and the mentorship and development of junior team members.
  • Work closely with broader sector groups, supporting technology-driven mandates in Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS), Financial Institutions (FI), and Asset Management & Investment Funds (AMIF).

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with experience gained within a Commercial, IP, or TMT team at a leading International, Magic Circle, or US law firm.
  • Strong technical drafting skills and a robust understanding of commercial contract law.
  • Motivated, accountable, and ambitious, with a genuine interest in the evolving TMT and digital business landscape.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior Middle East experience or a strong understanding of current regional market trends and legal developments is highly beneficial, though strong international relocatees will be considered.

What's on Offer

  • Highly competitive, tax-free salary package and performance-related bonus.
  • Premium relocation assistance (where applicable).
  • Clear path for professional development and career progression.
  • Exposure to some of the most sophisticated, headline-grabbing technology and digital mandates in the MENA region.
