Test & Validation Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a Test & Validation Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the validation, qualification, interoperability, and production readiness of next-generation high-speed connectivity products, including Active Electrical Cables (AEC) and Active Copper Cables (ACC).

This is an opportunity to combine technical leadership, people management, and hands-on engineering while working with cutting-edge 112G, 224G, and future high-speed signaling technologies. This role is on site in Middletown , PA , relocation help is available for the right person !

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Test & Validation Engineers and technicians
• Own validation strategy, DVT execution, and release readiness
• Drive high-speed electrical validation, including PAM4, BER/PRBS, eye diagram, jitter, and signal integrity testing
• Develop and expand laboratory automation using Python and automated test frameworks
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, signal integrity, power integrity, and system-level issues
• Partner with Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and customer-facing teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Support customer qualification efforts and critical issue resolution
• Establish best practices for test methodologies, documentation, and laboratory operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in hardware validation, test engineering, or high-speed product development
• Leadership experience managing engineers and driving technical execution
• Strong understanding of SerDes, PAM4, BER/PRBS testing, signal integrity, jitter analysis, and high-speed systems
• Experience with BERTs, high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, VNAs, and automated test equipment
• Python scripting and laboratory automation experience
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Preferred Experience:

• 112G/224G PAM4 products
• Retimer and redriver technologies
• OSFP, QSFP-DD, Ethernet, CMIS, AEC, and ACC products
• Interoperability, qualification, reliability, thermal, EMI/EMC, and production testing
• Manufacturing test support and customer qualification activities
