MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Trainer and Maintainer to join our vehicle sustainment team in Kindsbach, Germany. The selected candidate will provide maintenance support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
- Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.
- Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
- Develop course curriculum, develop training modules and instructional materials for technical training programs.
- Coordinates class arrangements, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
- Assesses needs to determine training material content.
- Keeps abreast of information technology training needs, trends, methods, new materials and techniques.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelors’ degree and 4 years relevant experience or a High School Diploma and 10 years
- Training personnel must be certified through a TRADOC-approved Army Instructor course (e.g., ABIC, CFDC, ATRRS), an equivalent civilian/contractor program, or hold other relevant certification contingent upon a Government-approved waiver.
- Instructors certified for Wrecker training shall hold a current CLASS A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Wrecker Instructors must also have either three years of Wrecker Experience OR shall have obtained ONE of the following certifications below:
- Skill Identifier of Hotel 8 (H8) from the Army.
- Military Occupational Specialty 3536 (MOS 3536)
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
- Applicants hired as local nationals in Germany must have a current favorable LNSP or be eligible to obtain one. Non-German applicants without a current favorable LNSP must have resided in Germany for at least 12 consecutive months to be eligible for LNSP.
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
