Port Hedland Salary: $157,295 per annum + 13% superannuation
Dampier Salary: $150,741 per annum + 13% superannuation

This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites.
The Training and Capability Specialist coordinates and improves learning and development across the organisation. The role identifies capability needs, conducts training needs analysis, supports training compliance, manages learning content and reporting, and assists with the rollout of the Pilbara Ports training model.
Working within established learning frameworks and adult learning principles, the role partners with managers to build workforce capability and ensure employees hold the skills, qualifications and licences required for their roles. The role owns learning content and capability outcomes in the learning management system, while technical system administration sits with the People and Capability Applications Administrator.
About You

You are an experienced training and development professional who enjoys turning capability needs into practical, engaging learning solutions. You bring strong skills in training needs analysis, facilitation, learning content development and the use of learning management systems. A natural relationship builder, you work confidently with operational and corporate teams and can manage competing priorities in a safety-critical or regulated environment. You also hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or higher.
