Belmont Hospital is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Operating Suite across Anaesthetics and the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU).
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a specialised area of nursing, gain hands-on experience and build your clinical confidence in a supportive environment. Working alongside experienced nurses and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide safe, responsive and person-centred care across a diverse range of surgical specialties.
You’ll have the opportunity to strengthen your clinical assessment, critical thinking and patient advocacy skills while being supported to grow your perioperative practice. Whether you’re exploring a new area of nursing or looking to build a career in perioperative care, this role offers the support and experience to take the next step.

Belmont Hospital’s Operating Suite is a busy and rewarding service with four operating theatres and a diverse range of surgical specialties. Operating Monday to Friday, with staggered shifts between 7:00am and 7:30pm, you’ll enjoy variety in your day while maintaining a great work-life balance.
You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team that values teamwork, open communication and continuous learning, with experienced colleagues to help build your clinical confidence.

- Be adaptable, organised and committed to ongoing professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion of a 12-month Transition to New Graduate Program or equivalent acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- A commitment to infection prevention and control, safety and quality patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver individualised, person-centred care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday.
