YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE: This position is based in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Candidates residing outside the area may be eligible for a relocation incentive to assist with moving and settlement costs. The relocation program is intended to support a smooth transition and may include reimbursement of eligible relocation expenses in accordance with company guidelines and approved terms. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be ensuring the safe and continuous operation of our mine, handling planned and reactive maintenance. In this role you will be working underground environment. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Complete work in accordance with Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), CSA-Z462 Standards, standard operating procedures, and best practices Install and terminate 15kv, 5kv 600-volt power distribution Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and blueprints Conduct preventative maintenance programs on electrical equipment and record results and findings Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment such as power distribution, ventilation, leaky feeder communication, central blast line systems, jumbos, bolters and diamond drills Make changes to electrical systems and record/document changes Work on assigned daily line up following work orders and instructions Provide support to centralized maintenance team Promote safe work environment and practice IRS WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Red Seal Certified Electrician (Construction/Industrial) Must be able to read and interpret electrical prints Ability to follow and understand all CSA/ESA rules and regulations Clear understanding of lockouts and high voltage switching Competent use of test equipment such as multi meters/insulation testers and signal generators Strong troubleshooting and computing abilities Understanding of PLC systems is an asset Ability to work in a team setting and independently Minimum Salary : 71.66 Maximum Salary : 76.66 Job : Mech. / Elect.Maintenance Primary Location : Ontario-Kirkland Lake Organization : Agnico Eagle Mines Schedule : Full-time Shift Schedule : 7/7 Employment Type Code : Hourly Posting End Date : Jul 27, 2026, 3:59:00 AM
