Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Louisburg, NC

About the Role

Carolina QuickCare is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Louisburg clinic. Louisburg is a historic small town in Franklin County, just 30 minutes northeast of Raleigh, combining small-town living with easy access to the Triangle area.

At a Glance

• Pay: $55-$70/hour ($103K-$131K per year), time-and-a-half after 40 hours
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, so 4 days off every week
• No on-call, no overnights, rotating weekends
• Average of 3-4 patients per hour

What You'll Do

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and chart in Experity EMR.

How You'll Practice

You are the provider on-site and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up.

Compensation

$55-$70/hour based on experience and credentials. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign-on bonuses are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Qualifications

• FNP-C or PA-C licensed in North Carolina, or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS
• DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start (training provided)
• 1+ year of urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred
