Vehicle Electrical Diagnostics and Software Integration Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Sweden.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 5-8 years.

5 Days onsite. No remote.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking electrical/electronic Technicians to support E/E diagnostics, software integration, fault tracing, and root cause analysis for commercial vehicle platforms. Perform troubleshooting of ECUs, CAN networks, vehicle wiring, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems to ensure successful vehicle integration, issue resolution, and vehicle reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/electronic faults in commercial vehicles.
• Perform ECU diagnostics, CAN-Bus analysis, fault tracing, and root cause analysis.
• Inspect, repair, and test wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, relays, and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, fault codes, and wiring diagrams for issue resolution.
• Support ECU programming, calibration, software integration, and vehicle validation activities.
• Verify repairs, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous technical improvement.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.

Must-Have Skills

• Vehicle software integration and update experience.
• Embedded systems diagnostics and fault tracing.
• Hands-on experience with TechTool, Engineering Tool, Prosit+.
• CANoe/CANalyzer expertise.
• Vehicle electrical and wiring troubleshooting.
• Jira, Confluence, and SE Tool knowledge.

Good to Have

• Linux experience
• Commercial vehicle/truck domain experience
• C/CE driving license
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and learning mindset.

Please Note: A valid Sweden work permit is mandatory for non-EU nationals. A commercial vehicle licence will be considered an added advantage. Dependents Permit will not be considered.
