The Paediatric Home Ventilation Service at NHSGGC supports children with complex healthcare needs to live safely at home with their families while receiving specialist long-term ventilatory care. As Ventilation Service Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering and developing a high-quality, family-centred service across hospital, home, school and community settings. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will lead the coordination of individual care packages, support staff development and provide expert clinical guidance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families while building your leadership career within one of Scotland's largest and most progressive healthcare organisations.
All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
- Full-time permanent, x2 positions available
- You will be based at The Royal Hospital for Children
- Working Pattern: 08:30 am - 16:30 pm
- Coordinate and manage high-quality care packages for children requiring long-term ventilatory support across hospital and community settings
- Lead, support and develop teams of Ventilation Support Workers, ensuring safe and effective care delivery
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans in partnership with children, families and carers
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, schools and community services to deliver seamless care
- Undertake risk assessments and ensure safe care environments within homes, schools and nursery settings
- Support service development, quality improvement initiatives and Clinical Governance standards
- Provide practical, emotional and educational support to staff, children and families while promoting dignity, wellbeing and positive outcomes
- Registered Children's Nurse with current registration on the relevant part of the NMC register
- Relevant and significant experience within paediatric long-term ventilation or caring for children with complex healthcare needs
- Demonstrable clinical leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and develop others
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple care settings
- Understanding of Clinical Governance, risk management and quality improvement principles
- Proficient IT skills and the ability to utilise electronic systems and digital communication tools effectively
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to support travel across community locations
