VOCAL AND PIANO TEACHER

The International Music Institute (IMI) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Vocal & Piano Teacher to join our growing faculty.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality individual and group instruction in piano and/or vocal studies, helping students develop strong technical foundations, musical understanding, performance skills, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one piano and/or vocal lessons to students of different ages and abilities.

* Prepare students for examinations, recitals, competitions, auditions, and other performance opportunities.

* Develop individual lesson plans according to each student’s level, goals, and learning needs.

* Encourage students’ musical creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm for music.

* Maintain a professional and positive relationship with students and parents.

* Participate in student concerts, workshops, masterclasses, and other institute activities.

* Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team on performances and educational projects.

* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

* Contribute to the continued development of IMI’s educational and performance programs.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Music, Music Education, Performance, or a related field.

* Strong professional experience as a piano and/or vocal teacher.

* Excellent knowledge of music theory and practical musicianship.

* Experience preparing students for internationally recognized examinations is an advantage.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively with children, teenagers, and adult students.

* Professional, reliable, organized, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

* Previous experience in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage.
