What You'll Do:
As a Warranty & Repair Technician, you’ll help keep Pelican products performing at their best by evaluating warranty returns, troubleshooting issues, completing repairs and replacements, and supporting customers with warranty and technical questions. This is a hands-on role combining product repair, problem-solving, warranty processing, and customer support in a fast-paced environment.
- Evaluate returned products to determine condition, warranty eligibility, and the appropriate repair or replacement solution.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace Pelican products and components using established procedures, hand tools, and power tools.
- Perform functional testing after repairs to ensure products are operating properly before being returned to customers.
- Provide professional warranty and technical support to customers, employees, and other end users.
- Assist with product repairs, replacements, RMAs, and other warranty-related questions.
- Process warranty transactions and maintain accurate records for product returns, repairs, replacements, and related orders.
- Prepare repaired or replacement products, components, repair kits, labels, and other materials for shipment.
- Use department tools and equipment to perform product repair, identification, modification, and disposition activities.
- Provide guidance and training support to new Warranty and Repair Technicians on products, repair procedures, and department processes.
- Support cross-training and other production activities as needed.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of related experience preferred in warranty, repair, technical support, manufacturing, customer service, or a similar environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine product repairs.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Basic math and computer skills with the ability to accurately enter and maintain information in business systems.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and technical information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.
- Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train as needed.
- Work Schedule: 7:00am - 4:00pm PST (Monday - Friday)
We'd Love If You Also Have:
- Experience supporting social media or digital marketing for a consumer brand, either in-house or within an agency.
- Experience using affiliate marketing platforms.
- Experience with creator or influencer relationship management tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for research, drafting, summarization, ideation, or other day-to-day marketing activities.
- Knowledge of social commerce, creator marketing, influencer trends, and evolving digital audience behaviors.
- A strong interest in discovering emerging creators, platforms, content formats, and online communities.
Additional Information:
- This is an onsite position located in Torrance, California.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple warranty and repair priorities.
- Cross-training and support of other production activities may be required based on business needs.
- Supports Pelican’s commitment to Safety, Environment, Quality, and continuous improvement.
- Frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems.
- May occasionally require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this position is listed below. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
