💰 Up to $100K base + benefits

⏰ Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

💼 Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on Wi-Fi experience

I'm working with a publicly traded wireless hardware company that's growing its Texas engineering team. They need a Wi-Fi Test Engineer who knows 802.11 inside and out, is comfortable in the lab, and can explain test results clearly to both engineers and customers.

What you'll do:

✅ Build and run Wi-Fi test plans from scratch

✅ Run OTA, throughput, roaming and interop testing

✅ Find the root cause of connectivity and RF performance problems

✅ Partner with hardware and firmware teams to fix issues

✅ Own the test lab: setup, equipment and upkeep

✅ Write clear, customer-ready test reports

What you bring:

✔ 5–7 years in Wi-Fi testing or validation (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7)

✔ Solid OTA and RF test experience

✔ Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6)

✔ Comfortable with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and packet capture

✔ Python and Linux for test automation

✔ Familiarity with FCC, CTIA or Wi-Fi certification testing

✔ Can work the 2–10 PM shift

Great backgrounds include: wireless or RF validation, WLAN testing, OTA testing, or connectivity testing at semiconductor, networking, broadband/CPE, IoT or consumer electronics companies.
