We are assisting our client, a beautiful, elevated winery and crush facility in Amador County, in identifying a talented General Manager to lead the charge; taking the winery from a family-run operation to a structured, scaling business. The groundwork has been laid, organic growth is occurring, and huge opportunity is at their feet.
This is a builder job, not a caretaker job. The right candidate is a businessperson first and a wine aficionado second. You’ve demonstrated success and can run a P&L, grow sales channels, lead and mentor teams, and install the systems a scaling company needs. You are entrepreneurial enough to thrive in a young business and disciplined enough to give it a backbone.
With views of the rolling vineyards with the Sierra Foothills as their backdrop, you will coach, mentor, and lead a small onsite team. This is an autonomous role where you keep ownership apprised as you help put this standout on the map. You will help our client grow up without losing who they are.

Base compensation $150k-$185k DOE Plus bonus, incentives, perks
