About This Role SpartanX is seeking experienced Wireman and Journeyman Electricians to support residential solar installation and electrical operations across active markets. This role is ideal for electricians who take pride in clean workmanship, safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC and local code requirements. This is a hands-on field role supporting residential solar installation, electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, and operational quality control. What You’ll Do Install, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systems Perform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systems Interpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, and system schematics Ensure all electrical work meets NEC standards and local AHJ requirements Troubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficiencies Perform testing and verification of system functionality and safety Support installation crews onsite and maintain efficient workflow Maintain organized documentation, photos, and completion records Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal operations teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What We’re Looking For Previous residential electrical experience required Solar PV experience preferred Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in the field Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments Professional communication and customer interaction skills Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workday Preferred Qualifications Solar installation experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience with battery storage systems Experience supporting residential solar crews What We Provide: Company Truck for work-related travel Gas Cards for fuel expenses Wear and Tear (Consumables) Tools provided Relocation Bonus Competitive compensation and opportunities for growth Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality Legal Disclaimer SpartanX is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
