Summary

We are seeking a senior Identity Backend Developer B. to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable identity and access management services. This role focuses on building authentication and authorization systems and driving innovation in passwordless authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), passkeys, and secure healthcare access. You will leverage GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate development, prototype secure workflows, and improve code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure identity services for authentication and authorization.
• Develop robust backend codebases in C# and Node.js, using GenAI tools to accelerate implementation and maintainability.
• Drive initiatives for passwordless authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and passkeys.
• Architect secure access patterns for healthcare services and ensure identity workflows protect sensitive data.
• Integrate and implement identity protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Collaborate with product managers, security engineers, and DevOps to define requirements and deliver identity solutions.
• Use GenAI tools to prototype solutions, generate code templates, and automate documentation and integration tasks.
• Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and debug complex IAM issues with support from GenAI-assisted tooling.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and maintainability across backend services.
• Mentor and guide other engineers on identity best practices and AI-augmented development workflows.
• Lead technical initiatives across identity and access management solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining secure identity solutions in production, with a focus on authentication and authorization systems.
• Experience designing and delivering authentication and authorization services and leading technical initiatives in IAM.
• Deep expertise in .NET and C# for building scalable backend services.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for microservices development.
• Strong experience working with Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate coding and debugging.
• Familiarity with modern identity standards: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Strong focus on security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, remote teams and provide clear documentation and communication.
• Experience leading technical initiatives in IAM and delivering scalable, secure solutions.
• Experience Azure and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) or similar IAM platforms.
