Position Overview

We are looking for a Security Architect with expertise in the Software AG webMethods ecosystem to assess vulnerabilities and design secure enterprise integration solutions.

The professional will be responsible for analyzing security requirements, defining API security policies, and designing secure integration and network architecture patterns.

This position requires technical knowledge of API security, authentication and authorization protocols, network security architecture, and secure integration development using webMethods, Java, and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments and security analysis across enterprise integration environments.
• Configure and govern security policies within webMethods API Gateway.
• Define API routing, security, threat protection, and traffic management policies.
• Design secure enterprise integration and network architecture patterns.
• Translate complex security requirements into actionable technical guidelines and implementation patterns for development teams.

• Knowledge of webMethods Integration Server
• Knowledge of webMethods API Gateway
• Knowledge of Universal Messaging
• Knowledge of Trading Networks
• Knowledge of ActiveTransfer
• Knowledge of WS-Security
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0
• Knowledge of SAML 2.0
• Knowledge of JSON Web Tokens (JWT)
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Experience with webMethods API Gateway policies for routing, security, threat protection, and traffic management
• Knowledge of network architectures involving DMZ, reverse proxies, firewalls, and load balancers
• Experience with webMethods Flow Language
• Knowledge of Spring Boot
• Experience developing secure custom Java services

Languages

• Advanced English is mandatory, including the ability to participate confidently in technical interviews and professional discussions.
