Role: Academic Reviewer (PhD, Freelance, Remote)

Nubint is an AI research-writing assistant for researchers. We are building Nubint Expert, a service in which subject experts review and edit researchers' manuscripts themselves before submission, and we are looking for academic reviewers who can read a manuscript as an expert in the field, comment on its argument, structure and methods, and edit it until it is ready for submission.

What you will do

- Read manuscripts in full and assess the research question, argument, structure, methods and interpretation of results

- Write specific, actionable comments, and edit the text directly where it needs it

- Judge whether Nubint's AI review findings on manuscripts in your field hold up, and note what they missed (for our review quality standards)

- Finish reviews and hand them over within the agreed deadline

What we are looking for

- A PhD in a field related to the manuscripts you review

- Recent publications in journals in the field

- Able to read English manuscripts and write precise comments in English

- Peer review or journal editing experience is a plus
