Teamcenter X Architect / Business Analyst

Overview

The Architect / Business Analyst bridges business needs and PLM technical capabilities, ensuring Teamcenter X meets operational and engineering requirements. This person will define the PLM roadmap, design scalable configurations, and translate business challenges into actionable requirements for the managed services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional and technical design of Teamcenter X enhancements and integrations.

• Work with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, and IT to understand pain points and process gaps.

• Analyze, document, and prioritize PLM requirements aligned to business objectives (e.g., NPI, change management, SAP integration).

• Define data models, workflows, and configuration rules that support enterprise standards.

• Coordinate with managed services or development teams to implement and test new features.

• Provide guidance on Teamcenter X best practices and scalability considerations.

• Support rollout and adoption of new capabilities across user groups.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of Teamcenter experience, including Teamcenter X (SaaS) configuration and deployment.

• Deep knowledge of PLM process areas: NPI, document management, change control, and item/BOM management.

• Solid understanding of CAD data management (especially SolidWorks) and ERP integration concepts.

• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.

• Experience working with global teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
