Head of Human Resources, Japan

This is a strategic HR leadership position responsible for leading the people agenda in Japan and partnering closely with senior leadership.

The organization operates under a regional HR structure, with several operational HR functions managed outside of Japan. As a result, the role is heavily focused on:

• HR strategy and organizational development
• Talent management and succession planning
• Employee engagement and retention
• Leadership partnering and coaching
• Workforce planning and business partnering

The successful candidate will lead a small local HR team and serve as a trusted advisor to the Japan leadership team. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and support business objectives are essential.

Industry experience is not a prerequisite; candidates from a variety of sectors will be considered.
