Team Environment Most partner studios operate as full-cycle game production teams , where animators collaborate closely with 2D Artists, Technical Artists, Game Designers, and Developers to deliver high-quality results in smooth, efficient pipelines. Tools & Tech Commonly in Use Spine 2D, After Effects, DragonBones, or similar tools Photoshop, Illustrator (for source assets) Pixi.js, Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar engines (for animation integration) Generative AI tools for routine and asset support Version control and task management systems: Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack Why Join the Talent Pool? What We’re Looking for in Talent Pool Candidates ✅ Animators of all levels — from promising juniors to experienced seniors with strong portfolios. ✅ Experience animating for any game genre — from stylized casual games to cinematic or RMG (real-money gambling) slots. ✅ Strong skills in rigging, timing, easing, and visual storytelling. ✅ Understanding of performance optimization and asset preparation (exporting Spine projects, atlases, bones). ✅ Familiarity with team pipelines, communication tools, and task management systems. Nice to Have Knowledge of FX animation, particle systems, or VFX integration Basic understanding of code-based animation triggers or states Experience collaborating with developers for animation implementation Formal artistic or animation education Experience with audio synchronization and in-game event timing Soft Skills That Stand Out Creative eye combined with technical precision Reliability and consistency in task delivery Clear communication within multicultural teams Initiative, ownership, and problem-solving attitude Ability to explain creative ideas with logic and examples Constructive response to feedback and team collaboration Shared Cultural Values Full engagement and responsibility for the production process “Get things done” attitude with care for quality Working with passion, not pressure Non-toxic, respectful communication Pro-Ukrainian position and collaborative team spirit Support for volunteering and positive social contribution Language English – Intermediate+ (B1–B2) or higher is expected for most roles. Many teams are bilingual (Ukrainian/Russian + English), so flexibility is key. What to Expect from Future Offers (Typical Conditions) Fully remote or hybrid setup (depending on the studio) Flexible 8-hour workday (approx. 10 AM – 7 PM) with daily syncs as needed Probation period: around 3 months for full-time roles Compensation: depends on experience, skills, and portfolio level (usually $10–$20/hour range across studios) Possible benefits: paid access to creative tools, 20 vacation days, paid sick leave, internal workshops, and equipment support Typical Hiring Process Intro call with a hiring manager (~30 minutes) Creative test task to showcase your animation style and technical skill Interview with Art Lead / Art Team (~60 minutes) ⚡ Most hiring decisions are made within 1 business day after the final stage.
