About the Opportunity

R77 Global is recruiting on behalf of an innovative, mobile-first games provider developing the next generation of casino and competitive gaming experiences.

Our client combines traditional RNG entertainment with skill-based gaming, creating engaging titles that bring together casual gameplay, strategic mechanics and competitive features.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D Artist who understands what makes mobile casino games visually exciting, engaging and memorable.

This is an opportunity to contribute to original games and help shape their visual identity, from the first concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D artwork for mobile casino, casual and skill-based games.
• Design game symbols, characters, backgrounds, icons, UI elements and other in-game assets.
• Develop visual concepts and illustrations that support game themes, mechanics and player engagement.
• Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Animators, Developers and Product teams.
• Prepare and optimise graphical assets for integration into mobile games.
• Maintain visual consistency across game features, animations and interfaces.
• Develop and refine artwork based on creative feedback and production requirements.
• Contribute fresh ideas to visual storytelling, game presentation and the overall player experience.

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience in 2D game art, preferably within iGaming, casino games or mobile game development.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating game-related artwork, visual design and illustration skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent digital art software.
• Understanding of composition, lighting, colour theory and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to create artwork in different visual styles while maintaining a cohesive game identity.
• Familiarity with preparing assets for animation and game engine integration.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently within a remote team.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with creative and technical colleagues.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience developing artwork for slots, bingo, instant-win or casual casino games.
• Familiarity with Spine animation workflows.
• Experience with Unity or other game development environments.
• Understanding of mobile-first UX and game asset optimisation.
