Position Overview We're seeking an experienced 3D Artist (Mid-Senior level) with more than 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll focus on creating high-quality 3D art assets in both realistic and stylized styles, including props, hard surface models, foliage, vehicles, weapons, and environment elements. You'll work closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist to maintain a coherent visual style and ensure the technical quality of 3D assets. Your work will involve everything from asset creation to integration into game engines like Unity3D or Unreal Engine. Responsibilities Asset Creation: Produce high-quality 3D art assets in both realistic and stylized styles, including props, hard surface models, foliage, vehicles, weapons, and environment elements, based on project requirements. Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure performance and technical quality of 3D assets, optimizing them to meet specific technical requirements. Game Engine Integration: Integrate 3D assets into Unity3D or Unreal Engine, setting up LODs, collisions, and dynamic objects. Collaborative Development: Work closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist to maintain a coherent visual style across the project. Optimization: Optimize assets to fit specific technical requirements and real-time engine constraints. Timely Delivery: Manage the quality and timely delivery of content, from hero assets through lighting to the final product. Problem-Solving: Think creatively to maintain visual excellence, even under challenging production conditions. Requirements Experience Level: More than 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of game production techniques to achieve efficient and high-quality results. Modeling Skills: Expertise in hard surface and organic modeling, particularly in creating props, vehicles, weapons, foliage, and environment assets. Texturing Abilities: Excellent skills in texturing materials using Substance Designer and Substance Painter. Material Creation: Strong skills in creating both procedural and handmade materials. Artistic Versatility: Proven ability to work in both realistic and stylized art styles is required. PBR Expertise: Proficiency in achieving believable physically based rendering (PBR) materials. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in 3D modeling software like Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya. Game Engine Experience: Experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and Unity3D. Optimization Skills: Understanding of rendering budgets and real-time engine constraints. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Team Player: Positive attitude with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Bonus Skills Houdini Experience: Proficiency with Houdini for proceduralism and automation. Scripting Abilities: Ability to create scripts and tools using Python, C#, or similar languages. Specialized Skills: Experience in VFX, lighting, or shader development. 3D Sculpting: Skills in ZBrush or Mudbox. Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with C++, HLSL, or Python programming.
