Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: At Pentoz, we build fast, flexible, and fully integrated eCommerce solutions for brands that want to scale. As a 3dcart Developer, you will take charge of designing, developing, and customizing online stores using the 3dcart (Shift4Shop) platform. You’ll deliver responsive, feature-rich shopping experiences that drive sales, enhance brand presence, and meet complex business needs. This role is ideal for a developer with hands-on experience in customizing eCommerce platforms, integrating third-party services, and working with both front-end and back-end technologies to deliver seamless online storefronts. You Will Be Responsible For: Storefront Development: Building and customizing online stores using 3dcart’s theme engine, HTML/CSS templates, and integrated modules. Custom Functionality: Developing and modifying scripts using JavaScript and jQuery to enable advanced front-end interactivity and user flows. Backend Configuration: Managing product feeds, inventory updates, customer data, and shipping/payment logic within the 3dcart dashboard and control panel. Third-Party Integrations: Integrating with CRM, ERP, shipping, marketing, and payment gateway APIs (e.g., Stripe, Mailchimp, ShipStation). Performance Optimization: Enhancing speed, mobile responsiveness, and UX by improving theme structure, page load times, and checkout flow. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Debugging issues, monitoring store health, implementing SEO best practices, and applying regular updates and patches. Collaboration: Working alongside designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver user-centric, conversion-optimized storefronts. This Role Is For You If: You have 2+ years of experience working with 3dcart (Shift4Shop) or similar platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce. You’re proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Liquid-style templating engines. You understand the full eCommerce lifecycle, from product setup to checkout customization. You’ve worked with integrations for inventory, logistics, email marketing, or analytics. You’re self-managed, organized, and used to working on deadline-driven eCommerce projects.
