43 - UI/UX Designer

Our client is building a product with highly complex, data-heavy interfaces. Its users are legal content managers who have mainly worked in Word and SharePoint. The client wants a full-time UI/UX design expert to make these interfaces feel familiar and intuitive. The right person brings a strong design vision of their own and proposes solutions, rather than waiting for users to define what they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design of complex, data-heavy interfaces on a full-time basis
• Design interactions that give users a familiar, Word-like experience
• Bring your own design vision and come forward with solutions, since users don't yet know what they need
• Turn the client's reference input into a first version, then iterate on it closely with the product lead
• Add client research to your own vision where it helps

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven UI design expertise beyond simple forms
• Hands-on experience designing complex interactions and data-heavy interfaces
• A strong portfolio that shows your design taste and approach
• Able to set a clear design direction and propose solutions on your own
• Comfortable working iteratively from reference material to first version and beyond
• Frontend build experience is a plus (deep Angular expertise is not required)
