We are currently looking for an experienced A365 Architect to join an international team working on an AI governance and architecture engagement within the pharmaceutical and medical industry.
The project focuses on designing the technical architecture and governance model for AI agents, including their classification, lifecycle, identity, permissions, inventory, and retirement. In this role, you will be responsible for designing how AI agents are created, governed, controlled, and retired, working closely with governance and security stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:
- Design the architecture and governance model for AI agents across all governed workstreams
- Define how AI agents are created, classified, governed, and retired
- Design the AI agent classification and tiering model
- Define and oversee the agent lifecycle, including its stages and governance gates
- Design the agent register and inventory model
- Define agent identity and permission management concepts
- Design the architecture of the Agent 365 platform supporting AI agent governance
- Develop control models for non-human identities and autonomous AI agents
- Assess risks related to agent delegation, tool access, blast radius, and multi-agent interactions
- Design appropriate controls for agents that can act on behalf of users or interact with external tools
- Ensure agent permissions and controls can be properly evidenced and audited
- Work with the Security Architect to ensure agent controls integrate correctly with the security architecture
- Work with Entra, Purview, and Defender to design appropriate agent controls
- Support the design of consumption attribution and visibility models
- Collaborate with governance and AI stakeholders to co-design solutions and decision-making frameworks
- Work effectively in an environment where technical and governance decisions are developed jointly with the client
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience as an Architect working with Microsoft and AI technologies
- Hands-on experience with Agent 365 platform architecture
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Purview and Defender
- Experience designing governance and control models for AI agents or non-human identities
- Strong understanding of identity, permissions, access control, and lifecycle management
- Experience designing classification or tiering models
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assess risks in emerging technology environments
- Ability to reason about agent delegation, tool reach, blast radius, and multi-agent interactions
- Understanding of AI agent architecture, governance, and lifecycle management
- Experience working with security architects and governance stakeholders
- Ability to design solutions based on principles and requirements rather than relying only on product documentation
- Strong understanding of consumption attribution and visibility
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment
