Academic Support Manager

Envision Radiology, a 100% ESOP-owned company, seeks an Academic Support Manager to join the team!
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Position Pay Range: $70,600 - $88,250
Opportunity for an additional, discretionary bonus available

Summary/Objective

The Academic Support Manager develops strategic partnerships with community colleges and technical schools to build a strong pipeline of qualified student technologists for Envision Radiology. This role focuses on recruiting and developing technologists across all modalities, supporting staffing needs, improving retention, and overseeing the Advanced Modality Cross-Training Program, including educational supply management and monitoring participants’ progress and development.

Essential Functions

1. Develops and maintains positive, professional relationships with school administrators, instructors, and personnel.

2. Coordinates student placements at designated Envision Imaging Centers for clinical learning and training.

3. Assigns qualified and approved technologist mentors to support each student’s development.

4. Provides ongoing feedback, guidance, and support to promote student success.

5. Represents Envision Radiology at job fairs, career events, and student recruitment engagements.

6. Identifies and recruits eligible students who align with Envision Radiology’s values and culture.

7. Serves as an ambassador for Envision Radiology by communicating employee benefits, culture, ESOP, growth opportunities, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement programs.

8. Collaborates with operational leaders to anticipate staffing needs and develop internal and external talent pipelines through cross-training and strategic recruitment.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has some supervision responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications/Experience:

• Four (4) plus years of clinical experience in the field of Radiology.

• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.

• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.

• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.

• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation.

• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent education, training, and experience.

• Current ARRT certification in Radiology with advanced certifications are preferred.
