What is Shotgun?

Shotgun is a leading platform dedicated to empowering live music event organizers and touring artists, driving the future of the live music industry. Our mission is to build the infrastructure that enables live music to thrive.

In the past seven years, Shotgun has raised €10M from Newfund, Venrex, One RagTime, Creator Collective, and BPI Culture Fund. We are a lean and dynamic team of 90 people, with offices in Paris, Miami, São Paulo, Lisbon, and Marseille. Our culture is built on passion, commitment, ownership, and humility.

The Role

As Shotgun grows, so does our ambition. We're branching out into new territories, inaugurating fresh ventures, and, in the process, assembling new teams. Our pathway to success lies in our analytical rigor and exhaustive exploration of every opportunity.

You'll join the Field Operations team, which runs access control for our clients' events (concerts, festivals, clubs) and manages the related equipment fleet. You'll run events end to end, from the first meeting with the organizer to the post-event review and cost tracking. You'll also be the go-to person for access lists and access control support.

  • Before the event

    • Lead meetings with organizers to gather their needs

    • Help organizers set up their access control

    • Train teams on our product and back-office

  • On the day

    • Run access control on site: deployment, team management, handling disputes and unexpected issues

  • After the event

    • Review the event with the organizer, with figures and qualitative feedback

    • Make recommendations for the next edition

  • Cost tracking

    • Track the budget of each project

Support

  • Manage support requests related to access control and on site sale

Equipment logistics

  • Help prepare, ship and receive event equipment

Continuous improvement

  • Share field feedback to improve our processes and tools

  • Contribute to internal documentation

The job is for you if

  • You have 3+ years of experience in access control, ticketing or event production

  • You have proven experience running event projects end to end, budget included

  • You can lead a team on site and stay calm during rush hours

  • You have strong client relationship skills, B2B and B2C

  • You are rigorous and organized, and can handle several events in parallel

  • Ideally, you have some experience with tools such as a ticketing back-office, Notion, Airtable or Zendesk

  • You know the French live music scene well

  • You speak fluent French and professional English

  • You are available evenings, weekends and for travel

  • You are based in Paris

👪 Note to women and underrepresented groups: We value diversity because it's essential for creativity and healthy growth. If you don't meet 100% of the requirements but are excited by this role, please apply 🙏
