Account Associate

Grain is growing quickly, and so is our Sales team. We're looking for an Account Associate to take on a portfolio of smaller accounts. If you believe in delighting customers, have high standards and are resourceful, we want to hear from you.

You will:

• Own and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts, driving order frequency and long-term customer value.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with day-to-day stakeholders across leadership, operations, production, finance and procurement, acting as a trusted partner to our customers.

• Run the end-to-end order process: enquiry qualification, menu recommendation, quotation, confirmation and follow-up.

• Spot where assigned accounts are ordering below their potential, work out why, and act on it to build regular ordering patterns.

• Take on accounts as they are allocated to you, building the relationship from day one so ordering continues and grows.

• Manage order changes and amendments, working closely with operations and kitchen to keep execution clean.

• Spot churn risk early and act on it, and flag accounts that have outgrown the portfolio so they can move to the right owner with full context.

• Keep CRM records complete and current, and feed back what you learn from customers so we can improve how we work.

We're looking for someone with:

• 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing sales, account coordination or customer service role. Catering, hospitality or events is a plus, and anyone with the right attitude is welcome to apply.

• Strong organisation and follow-through, with the discipline to work a long list of accounts consistently.

• High ownership and attention to detail, especially on quotations and order documentation.

• Confidence handling straightforward commercial conversations, including pricing and objections.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools in your daily work, as we work with Claude across the team.

• Agility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where things are often ambiguous.
