  • Pitch trade, consumer, tech, and business media with strategic, compelling angles.
  • Monitor editorial coverage in real time using tools such as Google Alerts, Muck Rack, and TVEyes.
  • Develop and flag timely editorial calendar opportunities, ensuring context and background information is clearly articulated.
  • Identify HARO and Qwoted opportunities, providing relevant background and crafting thoughtful, compelling submissions.
  • Clip earned media coverage and maintain client clip books.

Research, Programs & Opportunity Development

  • Support award and speaking programs by researching opportunities, managing deadlines, and preparing submissions.
  • Demonstrate ability to research and develop conferences, seminars, and speaker placements that align with client strategies.
  • Conduct general industry, competitive, and trend research to support client and internal needs.

Tools & Systems Mastery

  • Demonstrate proficiency with internal research and monitoring tools (e.g., Muck Rack, TVEyes).
  • Manage and update client monitoring terms and ensure alerts are functioning properly.

Professionalism & Team Contribution

  • Consistently meet deadlines and deliver work that requires minimal edits.
  • Show initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.
