Account Executive — Fully Remote (Pakistan-based)

AltRider is a US motorcycle accessories manufacturer based in Seattle. We design and build protection parts and adventure gear for BMW, KTM, Ducati, Honda, Triumph, Yamaha and Kawasaki. We sell directly to riders and through a dealer and distributor network across the United States and Europe.

We are hiring one accountant to own the day-to-day books for both our US and EU operations. This is a remote role, working with our Operations Manager in Lahore and directly with our CEO in Seattle.

What you will do

• Categorise bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online twice a week, and flag anything you cannot identify
• Reconcile operating, reserve and clearing accounts every month
• Reconcile payment gateway settlements (Shopify Payments, PayPal US, PayPal EU) against recorded sales
• Complete the monthly close within ten days of month end, with a clear list of open items
• Schedule international supplier wires and US vendor payments, and send payment confirmations
• Assure account receivables are always within due limit.
• Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders line by line, and raise disputes and credit note requests in writing
• Support year-end close: adjusting journal entries, financial statements, and information requests from our US CPA
• Help with quarterly and annual filings, including a state excise return built from order-level data

What we need from you

• 3–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online skills
• Solid Excel: lookups, pivots, and the patience to reconcile two systems that disagree
• You reconcile until the numbers match. You do not book an unknown charge to "miscellaneous" to clear the queue.
• Clear spoken & written English. Most of your work is Google Meet meetings, emails and written notes to people you will never meet in person.
• Comfortable working with US and EU entities, multiple currencies, and multiple bank accounts

Nice to have

• E-commerce or Shopify experience
• Exposure to US GAAP or working alongside a US CPA
• Experience with Gusto payroll or US benefit filings
• Experience with VAT in an EU context
• Purchasing experience

Hours and setup

Fully remote. You will need to overlap with Seattle time for part of your day — expect a working window that runs into the Pakistan evening. Standard week, but month-end close and year-end will be heavier.
