The Account Executive position within the BrokerBrand TPO channel, responsible for developing, growing, and retaining a book of broker partners within an assigned territory. The role owns the partner relationship end to end — identifying and recruiting broker prospects, sponsoring them through the approval process, presenting BrokerBrand TPO’s products, pricing, technology, and value proposition, and converting approved partners into consistent, profitable production. This position leads all pricing and business development conversations, manages account coverage and call activity, and is accountable for the territory’s registration, submission, and funding volume. Success in this role is measured by locked and funded volume, the number of actively producing partners, partner retention, and the growth and profitability of the assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and recruit mortgage broker partners within an assigned territory to develop and grow BrokerBrand TPO production.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to identify prospective partners, market opportunities, and opportunities to grow existing relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with broker owners, managers, and loan officers through regular sales activity, presentations, account visits, industry events, and networking.
  • Present and promote BrokerBrand TPO’s products, pricing, technology, and service offerings based on partner business needs and opportunities.
  • Support prospective broker partners through the approval process, including obtaining required documentation, communicating requirements, and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Partner with the Account Manager and other internal resources to onboard newly approved partners and support their transition to active production.
  • Manage and grow an assigned book of broker partners, including developing active accounts, re-engaging dormant partners, and identifying opportunities for increased production and product adoption.
  • Lead pricing and rate conversations with assigned partners and facilitate pricing exception requests through approved channels.
  • Monitor partner and territory production trends, including registrations, locks, submissions, pull-through, and funded volume, and take appropriate action to support production goals.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews with key partners to discuss performance, service, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, account, sales activity, and pipeline information in designated company systems.
  • Communicate relevant product, pricing, policy, and process changes to partners and provide market intelligence, partner feedback, and business opportunities to channel leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Performance Expectations:

  • Perform all actions in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Convictions, policies, and procedures of EHL.
  • Expected to meet production standards as outlined in the Loan Origination Production Standards.
  • Provide a “WOW” experience and effectively communicate with associates, clients, partners, and vendors via phone, written communication, and/or in person.
  • Seek feedback and maintain regular, timely communication with associates and your manager.
  • Be willing to assume additional responsibilities, duties, and projects as they arise.
  • Have strong organizational skills, the ability to learn quickly, and accuracy/timeliness in completing tasks.
  • Knowledgeable regarding mortgage processes and able to answer borrower questions and take applications.
  • Effectively use LOS, contact management software, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to learn changing information regarding loan programs and incorporate these changes while working with members.
  • Use approved AI tools, where appropriate for the role, to improve productivity, accuracy, scalability, and workflow efficiency while complying with company policies, security standards, privacy requirements, and data protection obligations.
  • Work well with other members of the EHL team and be willing and able to assist or fill in for other EHL Loan Consultants/Officers as needed.

Specific Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities Required for Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of mortgage sales experience, including at least two years as a wholesale or third-party originations Account Executive.
  • Existing broker relationships within the assigned territory strongly preferred.
  • Sales-level working knowledge of conventional agency, FHA, VA, jumbo, Non-QM, and home equity products and their key guideline parameters.
  • Understanding of wholesale pricing, rate sheets, margin, lock policy, and broker compensation (lender-paid and borrower-paid) and anti-steering requirements.
  • Familiarity with the broker approval and licensing process, including NMLS and state licensing standards.
  • Understanding of the loan lifecycle sufficient to set accurate partner expectations on process, requirements, and turn times.
  • Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard working.
  • Ability to work well with fellow associates, clients and vendors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy environment.
  • May be required to drive for business purposes and if so, must hold a driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with EHL’s Auto Insurance policy.
  • Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
  • Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout the shift.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, sit climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

    The base annual range rate for this position is $35,360 – $60,000 depending on a number of factors including location and experience. If applicable, associate may be eligible for per-file incentives, commissions, bonuses or other variable earnings as determined upon hire.

    Benefits and Perks:

Basic Life/AD&D insurance for eligible associates as well as a Short-term Disability benefit are provided by Evergreen. Associates are automatically enrolled in Evergreen’s 401(k) plan. Personal Time Off (PTO) of up to 13.34 hours may be earned monthly and associates may enjoy 9 paid holidays each year.
