Position Overview
HYRE HARPER Co. is seeking an experienced Account Executive with staffing, recruiting, or talent acquisition industry experience to generate new client relationships and revenue opportunities.
This is not a recruiting position. The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to identify organizations with hiring needs, build relationships with decision-makers, conduct discovery conversations, and convert qualified prospects into clients that provide positions for our recruiting team to fill.
The ideal candidate understands how staffing and recruiting services are sold, including the relationship between business development, signed service agreements, job orders, recruiter capacity, successful placements, and long-term client retention.
This individual must be able to work independently, manage a disciplined sales pipeline, develop genuine business relationships, and consistently operate within defined performance metrics and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify companies with current or anticipated hiring needs.
- Generate qualified leads that can produce direct-hire, contract, temporary staffing, or outsourced talent acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct targeted outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, professional networks, referral sources, industry associations, and other approved channels.
- Use tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn, market intelligence platforms, company websites, and industry sources to identify organizations, contacts, hiring activity, and business opportunities.
- Research decision-makers including business owners, executives, HR leaders, talent acquisition leaders, operations leaders, and hiring managers.
Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified companies and staffing opportunities.
- Secure discovery meetings with prospective clients.
- Identify specific positions, hiring challenges, recruiting needs, and workforce gaps that HYRE HARPER Co. can support.
- Move prospects through the complete sales process, from initial outreach through discovery, proposal, contract execution, and client onboarding.
- Develop referral relationships and strategic partnerships that can produce recurring business opportunities.
Consultative Sales
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand each prospective client’s hiring model, recruiting challenges, internal resources, budget, timeline, and business objectives.
- Position HYRE HARPER Co. as an outsourced talent acquisition partner and extension of the client’s internal team.
- Recommend appropriate solutions, including outsourced recruiting, direct hire, temporary staffing, contract staffing, project-based recruiting, or a blended solution.
- Clearly communicate the business value, expected outcomes, and return on investment associated with HYRE HARPER Co.’s services.
- Present the company’s veteran-led mission and military talent capabilities when relevant to the prospective client’s workforce goals.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain credible relationships with business owners, executives, HR professionals, hiring managers, and operational leaders.
- Serve as the primary sales contact during the prospecting and client-development process.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing clients.
- Help create a smooth transition from signed agreement to recruiting kickoff and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts into additional positions, departments, locations, or service offerings.
- Support client satisfaction, repeat business, and referral generation.
Sales Presentations, Proposals, and Agreements
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, capability overviews, proposals, and solution recommendations.
- Coordinate internally on pricing, service scope, recruiting capacity, and delivery expectations.
- Support negotiations involving recruiting fees, staffing markups, service terms, position requirements, and client expectations.
- Follow all company approval requirements before making commitments regarding pricing, legal terms, service guarantees, or delivery timelines.
- Ensure agreements and supporting documentation are complete before transitioning opportunities to the recruiting team.
Pipeline and CRM Management
- Use HubSpot as the official CRM system for leads, contacts, companies, sales activities, opportunities, forecasting, and client relationship management.
- Accurately document prospect communications, discovery notes, decision-makers, hiring needs, lead sources, proposal status, expected contract value, anticipated close date, and next steps.
- Keep opportunity stages, contact records, follow-up activities, and pipeline forecasts current.
- Use ZOHO Recruit to support the handoff of signed clients, approved job orders, recruiting requirements, and related talent acquisition activity.
- Ensure records are detailed enough for leadership and the recruiting team to understand the opportunity, client expectations, and next required action.
- Use company-approved Microsoft applications for email, meetings, communication, file management, presentations, and internal collaboration.
Accurate ZOHO activity and documentation are particularly important within HYRE HARPER’s existing recruiting workflow, where notes and pipeline status changes are treated as crucial operational records. [Candace St...o. in chat | Teams]
