The company
WORK-SELF builds Maya Enterprise, the Human Context infrastructure for enterprise AI. AI agents increasingly perform work inside large organisations, but they need context about the people and decisions around that work: who owns it, which decisions an agent can make, when a person reviews the result and how exceptions are escalated. Maya provides this governed context through an MCP-native server so employees and agents can complete work through accountable workflows.
We are a London-based enterprise AI company. In our first year we won enterprise contracts across banking, utilities, property services and European public finance, reached EBITDA-positive operations with a small team, and deployed Maya with enterprise customers. We work with technology and delivery partners and hold a granted US AI patent assigned to the company. Our next stage is scaling product delivery, enterprise adoption and partner-led growth. The people joining now will help build that next stage.
The role
You will own enterprise sales into utilities and property-management organisations, where work crosses frontline teams, service providers, asset systems and regulated processes. Maya's value is in helping agents operate with clear human context: who is accountable, when a decision needs approval and how an exception reaches the right person. You will turn those operational problems into specific, measurable enterprise engagements.
Expected compensation ranges: £75k – £140k per year (OTE) + £130k - £200k (Equity) + Bonus on performance and standard benefits
What you will own
Sector account plans. Build a focused set of water, energy, infrastructure and property-services accounts. Identify operational transformation leaders, CFO/COO sponsors, IT owners and procurement decision-makers.
Operational problem discovery. Research workflows such as service requests, field coordination, contractor handoffs, maintenance approvals and exception management; validate the real problem with each customer before making a claim.
Executive selling. Lead discovery, stakeholder maps, workshops, proposals and negotiations. Connect operational friction to cost per unit of delivered work, service consistency or employee rework.
Pilots and proof. Work with engagement and technical teams to select a bounded workflow, set baselines, define approval and escalation rules, and report a credible business result.
Partnerships and commercial operations. Use implementation partners and sector advisers to access accounts. Maintain disciplined CRM, forecasts, contract plans and expansion opportunities.
You will know you are succeeding when
First 30 days. You understand the priority utilities and property-services workflows, have mapped key accounts and their buying groups, and book or advance 5 qualified demos per week towards pilots or commercial evaluation.
By 90 days. You book 10 qualified demos per week and convert 3 client pilots per quarter. Your named-account pipeline has clear buyer sponsorship, evidence-based value cases and documented next steps.
By 180 days. You have closed £500k in new revenue, supported by signed agreements, credible value cases and reliable forecasts. You have documented lessons that make the sales approach repeatable.
Who does well here
• Experience selling enterprise technology or services into utilities, property, facilities, asset-intensive operations or adjacent regulated markets.
• Ability to speak credibly with operations leaders and connect workflow changes to financial measures.
• Strong record of building pipeline through account research, networks and executive-level outreach.
• Comfort managing long cycles involving operations, IT, procurement and risk.
• Commercial writing, negotiation and disciplined deal management; working familiarity with AI is an advantage.
Success begins with how work actually happens inside an account, not generic product pitches.
What you get
• An opportunity to develop two strategic markets with visible customer operating problems.
• Direct founder exposure and support from product, engineering and delivery.
• The opportunity to help build and scale an early-stage enterprise AI company.
