Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Account Executive / Program Administrator to support the administration and ongoing management of commercial insurance accounts. This individual will play an important role in maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating account activities, supporting policy renewals, and ensuring clients receive responsive, high-quality service.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing day-to-day account administration with client interaction and relationship management. Working closely with leadership, this individual will assist with client meetings, account reviews, renewals, and the overall management of assigned accounts.
This role offers an opportunity to take ownership of account management responsibilities and help shape processes and best practices as the business expands. The successful candidate will have direct exposure to leadership, the ability to contribute ideas, and the opportunity to grow alongside the organization.
This is a primarily remote position with a hybrid work arrangement, including in-office attendance for meetings, collaboration, and team-building activities as needed. Occasional travel with members of the leadership team to meet with clients is also expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Account Management: Manage the day-to-day administration of assigned client accounts, serving as a key point of contact for client inquiries, service requests, and ongoing support.
- Invoicing and Account Administration: Coordinate client invoicing, maintain accurate account records, and ensure the timely completion of administrative tasks and documentation.
- Policy Reviews and Account Evaluations: Review insurance policies for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client needs. Conduct annual account reviews to identify changes in coverage requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Certificates of Insurance: Prepare, issue, and maintain certificates of insurance and related documentation accurately and promptly.
- Client Service and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing responsive, professional service and proactively addressing client needs.
- Renewal Coordination: Assist with policy renewals by gathering updated client information, reviewing coverage details, monitoring renewal timelines, and coordinating with insurance carriers and other relevant parties.
- Market Research and Analysis: Monitor insurance market conditions and assist in evaluating coverage options, pricing considerations, and available solutions to support client renewals and account retention.
- Meeting and Account Support: Support the leadership team in preparing for and participating in client meetings, account reviews, and renewal discussions.
- Client Visits and Travel: Travel occasionally with the leadership team to meet with clients, particularly those within the individual's assigned portfolio, to strengthen relationships and support account management activities.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve account management processes, workflows, and client service practices as the business grows.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient account servicing, consistent communication, and a high standard of client satisfaction.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as needed to support team objectives and overall business operations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive, resourceful approach, with the ability to take initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining engaged and collaborative with the broader team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with insurance agency management systems preferred.
- A Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred but not required. Willingness to obtain the appropriate license, if needed, is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and attend in-office meetings and team activities as needed.
