About The Role:
CloudRock is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Growth Executive to join our growing sales organisation.
The Account Growth Executive is responsible for driving growth within CloudRock's existing customer base. The role focuses on identifying, developing and closing commercial opportunities across CloudRock customers, including additional implementation phases, optimisation programs, Application Management Services (AMS), Workday Extend solutions, new Workday modules and broader business transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside CloudRock's Engagement Partners, who maintain executive sponsorship and strategic oversight of customer relationships. While Engagement Partners focus on customer success, relationship governance and long-term strategic alignment, the Account Growth Executive is accountable for commercial growth, account expansion and achieving revenue targets across the assigned customer portfolio.
This role requires a consultative sales professional who can build trusted customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, develop compelling business cases and manage opportunities through to contract signature.
Success will be measured through account growth, revenue generation, expansion of CloudRock services within existing customers and the development of long-term strategic customer relationships.
Key Job Responsibilities
Account Growth & Revenue Expansion
- Own commercial growth across assigned CloudRock customer accounts.
- Deliver revenue, bookings and account growth targets.
- Identify and develop opportunities for additional implementation phases, optimisation programs, AMS, Workday Extend, new Workday modules and strategic advisory services.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across the customer base.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell activity across CloudRock's service portfolio.
Partnership with Engagement Partners
- Partner closely with Engagement Partners assigned to customer accounts to develop and execute account growth strategies.
- Participate in account planning, customer governance and executive stakeholder engagement activities.
- Identify commercial opportunities arising from strategic discussions, customer priorities and transformation roadmaps.
- Maintain clear communication regarding opportunity progression, commercial discussions and customer feedback.
- Support a coordinated "One CloudRock" approach to customer engagement and account development.
- Ensure commercial opportunities align with customer objectives, delivery capability and CloudRock strategy.
Strategic Account Planning
- Develop comprehensive account plans for assigned customers.
- Create and maintain stakeholder maps, account strategies and growth plans.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer organisations, business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Identify strategic priorities that may create future opportunities for CloudRock services.
- Maintain visibility of customer investment plans and business transformation initiatives.
Opportunity Identification & Development
- Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, programme leaders and business stakeholders.
- Understand customer challenges, objectives and desired business outcomes.
- Translate customer needs into commercially viable CloudRock solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities through regular customer engagement and account reviews.
- Work alongside delivery teams to identify growth opportunities resulting from successful project outcomes.
Sales Execution
- Manage opportunities from qualification through contract signature.
- Lead proposal development, Statements of Work and commercial responses.
- Coordinate internal solution consultants and subject matter experts to create compelling customer solutions.
- Deliver customer presentations and commercial discussions.
- Lead commercial negotiations and support contract execution.
- Ensure opportunities progress effectively through the CloudRock sales lifecycle.
Customer Retention & Advocacy
- Support long-term customer retention and account development.
- Identify account risks and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
- Promote customer advocacy opportunities including references, case studies and events.
- Support renewals, contract extensions and additional service agreements.
- Help strengthen CloudRock's strategic position within customer organisations.
Forecasting & Governance
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity data and forecasts.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, bookings performance and revenue attainment.
- Monitor opportunity progression, risks and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to CloudRock sales processes and governance requirements.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Engagement Partners, delivery leadership, solution consultants, marketing and senior management.
- Share customer insights, market intelligence and growth opportunities across the business.
- Support smooth transitions between sales, delivery and ongoing customer engagement activities.
- Ensure customer commitments and expectations are communicated effectively to internal stakeholders.
Travel
- Travel as required to support customer meetings, account reviews, workshops, industry events and wider business activities.
Necessary Skills & Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise sales, account management or account growth roles.
- Proven track record of growing existing customer relationships and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience within ERP, enterprise software, SaaS, professional services or consulting environments.
- Strong strategic account planning and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrable success in identifying and closing cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to identify and develop executive sponsors and customer champions.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the Workday ecosystem.
- Experience selling Workday optimisation services, AMS, Extend or additional Workday capabilities.
- Experience developing account growth plans for existing enterprise customers.
- Understanding of post-implementation customer lifecycles and transformation roadmaps.
- Experience working alongside consulting delivery teams and executive sponsors.
- Experience responding to customer procurement activities and commercial negotiations.
- Existing relationships within relevant industries and enterprise customer organisations.
