ACCOUNT MANAGER
Stinson is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Account Director, this role will oversee a portfolio of accounts.

In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of your accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring projects and events run smoothly from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and content consultants to proactively manage client needs, navigate challenges, and deliver thoughtful solutions. With a strong sense of accountability and a focus on the client experience, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to the continued growth and success of your accounts.

Our successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional organizational and time management skills. A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, they will be highly detail-oriented, meticulous in accuracy and quality assurance, and committed to delivering exceptional work. They will be an engaged and present team member who takes initiative, anticipates needs, collaborates effectively, and takes pride in seeing work through to completion.

SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Independently manage the day-to-day operations of assigned client accounts with minimal oversight, taking full ownership of project execution, budgets, timelines, and client relationships while ensuring a consistently high level of service.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Stinson's services and capabilities to confidently prepare accurate project proposals, budgets, and timelines that align with client needs.
  • Lead client and internal meetings, including project briefs, kickoffs, and status updates, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability on next steps.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and consultants to proactively manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance, ensuring all deliverables, communications, budgets, and project information are accurate, complete, and meet Stinson's standards.
  • Take initiative in identifying potential challenges, anticipating client needs, and proactively recommending solutions rather than waiting for direction.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships through honest, transparent communication, professionalism, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Demonstrate emerging leadership qualities by taking accountability for decisions, confidently navigating conversations, supporting teammates, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, delivering clear, concise, and purposeful messaging that provides the right context, outlines expectations, and drives action toward the desired outcome.
  • Bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to daily interactions, demonstrating sound judgment, adaptability, respect, and a willingness to support the broader team.
  • Actively listen to, document, and communicate client feedback, ensuring clear action items, appropriate follow-up, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client direction, project information, and opportunities within the CRM tool, taking ownership of data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Come prepared to weekly 1:1 meetings with the Account Director and project teams, providing clear project status updates, identifying risks or challenges, and recommending next steps.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to independently prioritize competing deadlines while knowing when to escalate issues or seek guidance.
  • Support clients across time zones, including PST, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends during key event periods as required.
