Englewood, CO 80112; Lehi, UT 84043
- Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Base+Commission/month
Position Summary
Most account management jobs bury you in renewals, support tickets and admin. This one does not. In FY27 our Account Management team is focused on one thing: helping finance teams who already trust Netgain discover the next product that solves a real problem. You will own a book of established customers who already run at least one Netgain app, and your time goes to finding and closing new opportunities in accounts that already know us.
You will sell a growing portfolio across three business units (Accounting Apps, Operating Apps and Platform Apps), built by CPAs who have lived the close, the audit and the lease schedule. Our apps are trusted inside some of the most widely used ERP platforms, and our reach is expanding to new ERP ecosystems and buyers in 2027.
You will get a clear territory, a proven sales playbook, product experts at your side, and a leader who invests in your growth. Most reps ramp in 3–6 months, and you can earn commission from your first deal. Commission is uncapped: top performers who exceed quota keep earning, with no ceiling, and our top earners have finished at 110–120% of goal in recent years.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Grow the installed base through cross-sell
- Prospect into existing customers of every size, from fast-growing mid-market to enterprise, to introduce Netgain solutions they do not yet own.
- Build and work a territory plan: whitespace analysis, account prioritization and multi-threaded outreach to CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers, operations leaders and systems owners.
- Upsell additional seats, modules and entities where customers are expanding.
Lead consultative, value-based sales cycles
- Run curious, structured discovery on close, cash, lease, fixed asset, intercompany and operational processes to find the pain behind the request.
- Tailor demos to show how Netgain fits inside the customer's existing systems and what it saves in hours, risk and audit findings.
- Build business cases and ROI that resonate with finance and operations leaders.
- Own pricing, proposals and contract negotiation through signature.
Orchestrate the account team
- Partner with Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Implementation and Product to build account plans and run business reviews.
- Work alongside our ERP and implementation partners where it helps the customer.
- Bring customer feedback back to Product so our roadmap keeps solving real problems.
- Keep pipeline and forecasts accurate in our CRM.
- Travel: occasional, to get in front of customers in person when it advances a deal, strengthens a key customer relationship or builds new pipeline.
Qualifications
Must have
- 2+ years in quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales (account management, account executive or expansion roles).
- A track record of hitting or beating quota, with numbers you can share.
- Comfort prospecting proactively. You do not wait for inbound.
- Experience negotiating contracts and pricing directly with buyers.
- Confidence running product demos yourself after completing our enablement sessions.
- The ability to speak credibly with finance and accounting leaders about their processes.
Strong advantage
- Experience selling into, implementing or administering an ERP or financial system (NetSuite experience is especially valuable).
- An accounting or finance background (degree, CPA path, or time spent in a finance team).
- Experience selling apps, add-ons or integrations into an existing software customer base or partner ecosystem.
A bachelor's degree is preferred, but we care more about results than credentials. If you have sold SaaS to finance teams and win through curiosity and integrity, we want to hear from you.
How We Work
Competence and speed together are our advantage; either alone is not. That is why we stay deliberately small and hire for outsized skill. We do not hire for a lack of weaknesses, but for outsized strength and commitment to impact.
Our values are how we make decisions: Be an owner. Delight the customer. Focus on the long-term. Write the book. Send it. Never stop improving. Be a class act.
There is no company-wide rule about days in an office. Sales sets its own working norms: this role is hybrid, based in our Denver or Lehi office, where the team works together in person 3–4 days per week.
