ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Account Manager, you will lead client relationships and oversee the delivery of strategic PR campaigns. Working closely with internal teams, you will provide trusted counsel, uphold the quality of all client-facing work, and guide integrated campaigns from strategic development through to execution and evaluation. You will also play a key role in managing issues, developing team capabilities, and fostering effective collaboration across teams.

Client Leadership & Account Ownership

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned PR clients, media partners, and internal teams.

  • Counsel clients on reputation, narrative, and message architecture with confidence, evidence, and an honest point of view.

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships across multiple client stakeholders, including communications, marketing, and business leadership.

  • Anticipate account risk narrative drift, message inconsistency, and unmet coverage expectations and escalate early with a proposed solution.

Media Strategy, Counsel & Quality Assurance

  • Partner with the Media & Influencer team as the client-side lead, translating client objectives into clear media briefs that give the specialists a genuine platform to work from.

  • Brainstorm and shape story angles alongside the Media & Influencer team, bringing the client, brand, and industry context that sharpens the editorial proposition.

  • Review, proof, and approve all media materials before they reach the client or the press — including press releases, pitch notes, key message documents, byline articles, speeches, and executive commentary.

  • Act as the quality gate on message accuracy, factual integrity, and brand voice in everything issued on a client’s behalf.

  • Validate proposed media targets, publication tiers, and coverage strategy against the client’s objectives, audience, and market priorities before execution begins.

  • Interpret media performance for the client — what the coverage means for reputation, not only what it counts to — and lead the reporting conversation.

  • Feed client, brand, and market intelligence back to the Media & Influencer team so the specialist partnership sharpens with every campaign.

Issues & Crisis Management

  • Direct the Media & Influencer team on response outreach — priority contacts, sequencing, and correction handling — and approve every statement before it is issued.

  • Maintain a documented response protocol and a current escalation path for every assigned account.

Campaign Development & Integrated Delivery

  • Lead integrated PR programs from strategic framing through to delivery and evaluation, including launches, media events, and thought leadership platforms.

  • Write clear, complete briefs for Creative, Strategy, Media & Influencer, and Data IQ teams so that earned work sits inside a coherent whole.

  • Coordinate client activity across all project phases, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of agreed deliverables.

  • Review all work before it leaves the agency, holding the quality standard.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and coach Account Executives and Senior Account Executives, with particular focus on pitching craft, writing quality, and media judgement.

  • Allocate workload fairly, protecting both delivery standards and team wellbeing during peak periods and issue situations.

  • Set clear expectations, give timely feedback, and address performance concerns early with support from the Line Manager and the People & Culture team.

  • Model One-Vero behavior — sharing media intelligence openly across teams and markets and crediting contributions generously.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, Business or Marketing (or equivalent).

  • At least 4 years of experience in a PR agency.

  • Strong critical thinking.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Thai.

  • Creative, open-minded, and adaptable.

  • Ability to confidently present in front of teams and executives.

  • Understanding of client business issues and adeptness in negotiations.

  • Effective delegation, workflow completion, and support in market research and analysis.

  • Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in Digital, Social Media, and Photoshop programs (a plus).

  • Ability to stay updated on current affairs and relate them to client situations.
