You will take a proactive, results-driven approach to new business development, developing an assigned territory, engaging JCB dealers and prospective equipment customers, understanding financing needs, and negotiating specialized deal structures and pricing within defined authority. You will bring DLL’s values to life by putting customers first, taking ownership, collaborating across the joint venture, and continuously growing your knowledge and sales effectiveness.

Your Mission

  • Execute a territory growth plan by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new financing opportunities with JCB dealers, dealer sales teams, and equipment customers.

  • Develop a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting, market mapping, referrals, dealer engagement, and disciplined follow-up.

  • Influence customer and dealer decisions by translating business needs into clear, practical financing recommendations.

  • Negotiate specialized financing structures and pricing within established guidelines, balancing customer value, risk, profitability, and speed.

  • Convert opportunities into funded business by coordinating the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal, approval, documentation, and handoff.

  • Build trusted relationships with JCB stakeholders and regional dealer teams while maintaining a strong focus on new business development.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, and forecast information to support transparent decisions and effective territory management.

  • Solve moderately complex, non-routine sales and financing issues and suggest improvements based on customer and market feedback.

Skills and Capabilities Required

  • Professional experience, with more than three years of relevant experience as an indicative profile.

  • This is a field-based role with up to 80% travel throughout the large assigned territory.

  • Demonstrated success in new business development, field sales, territory sales, equipment finance, commercial finance, or a comparable customer-facing role.

  • Ability to understand customer needs and shape financing recommendations that support an equipment purchase or business objective.

  • Confidence prospecting, opening new relationships, and progressing opportunities through a complete sales cycle.

  • Ability to negotiate deal structure and pricing within established decision authority.

  • Sound working knowledge of core sales concepts, processes, and tools.

  • Ability to solve moderately complex, nonroutine problems and recommend practical improvements.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills across dealers, customers, sales teams, and internal specialists.

  • Disciplined territory, pipeline, and time management in a field-based environment.

  • Collaborative approach and ability to align individual contributions with broader joint venture objectives.

  • Openness to learning, coaching, travel, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
