Responsibilities:
- You spend approximately 70% of your time in direct contact with customers in Southern Bavaria. In this role, you will manage and develop strategic customer relationships with automotive OEMs and suppliers regarding our customized lubricant solutions.
- You identify new business opportunities, provide technical advice, and translate customer requirements into concrete application solutions.
- In addition, you manage customer projects from the initial idea through to successful implementation, conduct pricing and contract negotiations, and convincingly communicate the added value of our solutions to (new) customers.
- You spend about 30% of your time as the on-site point of contact for technical projects, including serving as the liaison for the Germany-wide account management team.
- In this role, you coordinate for example internal testing and development projects, initiate sample and product testing, and serve as a liaison between sales, engineering, laboratories, product management, and other departments.
Qualifications:
- A completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
- Alternatively, a comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Substantial experience in technical sales, key account management, or business development for technically sophisticated automotive products.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, automotive engineering, and industrial applications.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, account plans, and growth initiatives.
- Expertise in consulting and negotiation, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent command of German and English, willingness to travel, and a Class B driver’s license.
