We’re hiring: Account Manager at Wilson Hartnell | Dublin

Big ideas. Brilliant storytelling. Real impact.

Are you a natural communicator who combines strategic thinking with creative flair? Someone who can build trusted client relationships, spot a great story, turn insight into ideas and make things happen?

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join Wilson Hartnell; someone ready to take the lead, bring fresh thinking to the table and deliver communications that make a difference.

Part of the WPP network, Wilson Hartnell works at the intersection of earned influence, creativity and culture. We partner with brands to shape conversations, build reputations and connect with audiences in meaningful ways. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of client relationships and campaigns, work with talented people across the agency and wider WPP network and help turn ambitious thinking into outstanding work.

What you’ll do

  • Build strong client relationships, act as a trusted day-to-day advisor and bring strategic counsel to the table.
  • Develop creative, integrated PR and communications campaigns that connect brand ambitions with what matters to audiences.
  • Lead media relations, content development and social and digital campaigns, building relationships with journalists, editors and creators to get great stories noticed.
  • Manage campaigns and events from brief to delivery, bringing together the right people, partners and resources to deliver exceptional results.
  • Use research, measurement and insights to understand impact, demonstrate value and make the next campaign even stronger.
  • Help clients navigate emerging issues, support crisis communications and protect the reputations they’ve worked hard to build.
  • Spot opportunities to add value for existing clients and contribute ideas, energy and expertise to new business pitches.
  • Support and develop junior colleagues, collaborate across teams and help create an environment where great work thrives.

What you’ll bring? You’re an experienced communications professional who is ready to take the next step in your career. You’re comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and building client confidence while working closely with the agency team.

  • Proven experience in a PR (min 3 years), communications or integrated agency environment, with the confidence to lead client relationships and projects independently.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with an instinct for what makes a story relevant, distinctive and newsworthy.
  • Good understanding of the Irish media landscape, alongside an interest in the evolving creator and digital ecosystem.
  • The ability to develop strategic plans and creative campaigns that deliver against clear business objectives.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgets, resources, timelines and measurement.
  • A curious, commercially minded approach, with the confidence to contribute to new business and account growth.
  • An appetite to explore new tools, emerging media and AI, and to keep learning as the communications landscape evolves.

Above all, you’re proactive, thoughtful and full of ideas.

Why Wilson Hartnell? You’ll work with ambitious global and Irish brands, tackle interesting challenges and collaborate with talented people who bring different perspectives and expertise to the table. You’ll have the opportunity to shape work, build your skills, grow your client leadership experience and make your mark within the wider WPP network.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a team to deliver work that matters, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a hybrid role with office based in the heartbeat of Dublin City centre.
