At SciSure we're looking for an Account Manager DACH (m/f/d) to join our Sales team.

About the job

At SciSure, we're passionate about empowering scientists and research organizations through innovative digital solutions. Our software helps laboratories streamline workflows, manage research data, and focus on what matters most: advancing scientific discovery.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Account Manager – DACH (m/f/d) to join our international Sales team and help expand our presence across the German-speaking market, with a particular focus on Germany.

In this role, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential customers to understanding their challenges, demonstrating our solutions, and successfully closing deals. You will work closely with researchers, laboratory managers, and key decision-makers to help them embrace digital transformation.

If you combine a strong commercial mindset with curiosity about science and technology, enjoy building meaningful customer relationships, and thrive in an international environment, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business: Identify, approach, and acquire new customers, primarily in Germany, while supporting opportunities across Austria and Switzerland.

  • Own the full sales cycle: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to customer meetings, product demonstrations, negotiations, and contract signing.

  • Build strong customer relationships: Establish and maintain meaningful connections with researchers, laboratory managers, scientific institutions, and key decision-makers in the life sciences sector.

  • Understand customer needs: Take a consultative approach to identifying customer challenges, evaluating existing laboratory workflows, and positioning SciSure's digital solutions.

  • Engage with customers: Conduct effective customer meetings, presentations, and product discussions, both virtually and face-to-face.

  • Manage your sales pipeline: Proactively develop new opportunities, maintain accurate forecasts, and ensure consistent follow-up to achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records: Document customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities to ensure transparency and effective pipeline management.

  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with colleagues in Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to deliver a seamless customer experience and support business growth.

  • Represent SciSure: Attend customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen our market presence and identify new opportunities.

  • Contribute to our growth: Share customer feedback, competitor insights, and market developments to continuously improve our sales approach and strategy.

    About you

    • Sales experience: 3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with a proven track record in new business acquisition and managing the full sales cycle.

    • Educational background: A degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant professional experience is equally welcome.

    • Language skills: Native-level or equivalent fluency in German and strong professional English communication skills, both written and verbal. Dutch language skills are a strong plus.

    • Commercial mindset: A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to identify opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and successfully close deals.

    • Consultative selling skills: The ability to understand customer needs, communicate the value of technical solutions, and build trust with different stakeholders.

    • Strong communication skills: Confidence in presenting software solutions, conducting negotiations, and engaging with customers at different organizational levels.

    • Technical curiosity: An interest in scientific research, laboratory processes, and digital technologies, with the willingness to develop a solid understanding of our solutions.

    • Ownership and organization: The ability to independently manage sales activities, prioritize opportunities, and maintain a structured approach to pipeline management.

    • Collaborative mindset: Enthusiasm for working with colleagues across different departments and countries in an international environment.

    • Willingness to travel: Flexibility to regularly visit customers and attend industry events across Germany and, when needed, the wider DACH region.

      Nice to Have

      • Experience selling software or digital solutions to laboratories, universities, research institutions, or life science companies.

      • Experience with the usage of sales methodologies such as 'Winning by Design' or 'MEDDIC'.

      • Familiarity with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), or related laboratory software.

      • Experience working in an international SaaS organization.

        What we offer

        • Meaningful work: Help scientists and research organizations improve their daily work through innovative digital solutions.

        • Competitive compensation: Market-aligned compensation based on your experience and track record.

        • Flexibility: A trust-based work environment with remote work options and the opportunity to work abroad for up to 30 days per year.

        • Time off: 30 days of paid vacation per year to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

        • Professional development: Opportunities to continuously learn, develop your skills, and grow professionally through training, courses, conferences, and knowledge sharing.

        • Public transportation: Reimbursement for the Deutschlandticket to support convenient and sustainable commuting.

        • Berlin co-working space: Access to a welcoming and modern co-working space in the heart of Berlin, offering a great place to connect and collaborate with colleagues.
