Account Manager – DACH & Eastern Europe (Medical)

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic healthcare customers across the DACH and Eastern European regions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys managing key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and influencing customer success within a highly innovative industry.

You'll work closely with customers and cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Technical Service and Operations to deliver solutions that create value for both our customers and Amcor.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Manage and Grow Strategic Customer Relationships

  • Act as the trusted commercial partner for a portfolio of key healthcare accounts worth approximately €10 million in annual revenue
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, from purchasing through to technical and executive decision-makers
  • Maintain regular customer engagement through face-to-face meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Understand customer priorities, market challenges, and future growth plans

Drive Account Growth and Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and profitability
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing business through new applications, products, and services
  • Proactively pursue new opportunities within both existing and prospective customer accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that address customer needs

Lead Commercial Opportunities and Negotiations

  • Prepare and deliver compelling commercial proposals and customer presentations
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements
  • Manage and resolve product, quality, service, and supply-related issues in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Champion customer projects from concept through commercialization

Deliver Commercial Excellence

  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance reporting for your account portfolio
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Drive customer retention, profitability improvements, and long-term strategic partnerships

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • Experience within healthcare packaging, pharmaceutical, medical device, packaging, or industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of managing strategic customer relationships and delivering commercial growth
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and closing business opportunities
