As an Account Manager in Personal Insurance, you'll be the trusted, go-to contact for a book of individuals and families. You'll help them understand their coverage, handle their changes, guide them through claims, and make sure they feel looked after every step of the way. Work Schedule M/W/F Work from home; TU/TH in-office What You'll Be Doing Reporting to the Director of Personal Insurance Operations, on a typical day you'll: Respond to client questions by phone and email, and resolve billing, claims, and policy issues. Process policy changes and complete thorough coverage and policy reviews. Report claims to carriers for your clients and review new claim notices as they come in. Review renewal increases and help clients understand their options before renewal. Partner with Producers and Brokers when remarketing accounts: update quotes, compare coverage, and walk clients through any changes. Keep accurate, up-to-date records in our agency management system (EPIC), including client contact details. Look for chances to strengthen client protection through upselling and cross-selling. Keep your P&C license and any designations current with continuing education. Take on new projects and responsibilities as the department grows. This role is central to how we keep clients, and it gives you a strong base in personal lines for your next career step. Qualifications Who Thrives Here We're looking for people who care about their clients, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in doing things right. You'll likely do well if you: Have some college or a degree. Have 2+ years of customer service experience. Have 2-3+ years of insurance industry experience and a Property & Casualty license. Have experience with account management systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe. Have experience with Applied EPIC (preferred). Have an insurance designation or be working toward one (preferred). Manage your time well and can juggle several client needs at once. Communicate clearly and warmly, in writing and by phone. Bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a sense of ownership to your work. A couple of practical requirements for everyone on our team: Authorization to work in the United States. We're unable to sponsor work visas for this role. Reliable transportation to our office on scheduled in-office days. You must live within commuting distance of our Pittsburgh office.
