Accountant (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Principia is seeking an Accountant (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract), in Athens, Greece.

• Perform vendor, customer and general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare and monitor monthly accruals for revenues and expenses
• Process bank postings and perform bank reconciliations
• Perform Asset Accounting activities, including asset master data maintenance, capitalizations, settlements, depreciation runs and reconciliations
• Participate in month-end closing and Group reporting processes
• Support the preparation of financial statements under IFRS
• Participate in finance integration and migration activities related to mergers and acquisitions
• Support external auditors during annual and interim audit procedures
• Support ad hoc finance and accounting projects as required

What we search in you:

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Experience with SAP ERP systems will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Οrganizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
